I am Eleni Woldemariam, with more than 10 years of experience in the field. Over the course of my career, I have worked in various nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Yet, a persistent feeling of something missing remained. These environments often felt sterile, and the constraints of time hindered the provision of the deserving care for the residents. This propelled me to take matters into my own hands and establish Home Away From Home.

Opening this establishment has been one of the greatest joys in my life. It grants me the privilege to truly understand each resident. My dedicated team and I take the effort to learn everyone's preferences, dislikes, and interests, much like we would for our own family. Swiftly, we become adept at predicting their needs and delivering personalized care.

My preference for a smaller, homelike setting has cultivated a sense of familial connection among us. Simultaneously, we are well-trained to monitor health issues, alert primary care providers during the initial stages of illnesses, and provide prescribed medical attention.

The rewarding nature of this work compelled my decision to reside onsite in the attached apartment with my husband. This choice deepens our commitment and has transformed this space into our own home. We extend an invitation for your loved ones to join our community.
